SOS

Source: link

This distress signal was first adopted by the German government in radio regulations effective April 1, 1905, and became the worldwide standard under the second International Radiotelegraphic Convention, which was signed on November 3, 1906 and became effective on July 1, 1908. SOS remained the maritime radio distress signal until 1999, when it was replaced by the Global Maritime Distress Safety System. SOS is still recognized as a visual distress signal. In popular usage, SOS became associated with phrases such as "save our ship" or "save our souls". If you want to hear how it sounds the SOS in Morse code make a click on the link.

What about our lives?! When we need our souls to be saved where do we send the signal?! It should be somewhere... a destination that receives it, analyses it and then you see a feedback... hopefully:-) We seem to send it when we feel desperate or we don't find any other choice, solution on our own. And in the end we need to find a piece of light that can help us somehow, otherwise... we can send another "save our souls" expressed in ways that maybe we can only understand.

Search for peace and hope and joy. Pursue to live in these. It will unveil your soul from all the silly doubts that can ever appear in your soul. Rest yourself in God, because people sometimes can disappoint you in a very hurting way. So you can be free to believe that you are indeed fine and on your way - not perfected yet, but pressing on. Be free to enjoy life, enjoy God and enjoy yourself and those dear to your .

LOST!

Source: link

Have you ever felt that you could not be everything that everybody wanted you to be? Have you ever known deep down inside that you really needed to say "no" to a lot of people - but the fear of displeasing them had your mouth saying, "I'll try", while your heart was screaming, "I can't do it!"?

Those who succeed at being themselves don't allow others to control them. They are led by their heart, not by the fear of displeasing others or being rejected by them.

We cannot get angry at people because they place demands on us. It is our responsibility to order our lives. We need to know our identity, our direction and our calling - God's will for us. We must make the decisions that will keep us pressing toward our goals. We must be focused individuals with purpose.

Have you also lost yourself? Are you frustrated from trying to meet all the demands of other people while feeling unfulfilled yourself? If so, you will have to take a stand and be determined to find yourself and then succeed at being yourself. If you buy into the world's strategy, something will be screaming at you from every side.

For instance, your mother may want you to be gentle, kind and loving. Your father may want you to be strong, confident and aggressive. Your doctor or physical trainer may want you to exercise three times a week. Your spouse may want you to be more available, and your children may need you to be more involved in their school activities. Your boss may want you to work overtime.

We put a large amount of emotional and mental energy into studying the important people in our lives and trying to decide what they want from us. We then attempt to become what they want us to be. In the process, we may lose ourselves. We may fail to discover what God wants, or what His intention is for us. We may try to please everyone else and yet not be pleased ourselves.

Of course, there are times in life when all of us do things we rather not do. We do things for other because we love them, and we should do that. But in doing so, we are still being led by God's Spirit to walk in love and make a sacrifice for someone else's benefit or welfare. This is entirely different from being controlled and manipulated by other people's demands and expectations.

Have a "yourself" week!:-)

... start again... in order to fly!

"...sometimes you just need to start again... in order to fly..." - alicia keys

start again... start again... start again... it means that somewhere you have fallen or failed, or have been destroyed or have been disappointed or hurt or broken or lost... here is when you need to start again, to raise yourself, to find who you are, if you haven't managed yet... to start again towards where you was always feeling, dreaming... i guess, only so it will be possible to fly... really fly!

maybe we need some rain to get cool and feeling enough peace to have a priorities set-up time, where we decide what is really important for our heart and makes us be balanced... because when we are free from tormenting fears, we are able to develop our potential and succeed at being all God intended us to be.

Have a nice set-up time!
